Perform the Without a Dumbbell
At Geo Diet, we believe you should be able to undertake the One Arm Swing Dumbbell Exercise without the need for expensive gym equipment. Of course, if you have all the gear then use it. If not here are is a method to undertake the One Arm Swing using nothing but a sack of rice.
All the weights can be adjusted to your skill level and of course, don’t attempt to perform any exercises you are not 100 per cent confident with, always consult a Doctor before any changes to lifestyle.
One Arm Swing
- Crouch down to get yourself into a squat position
- Hold a rick sack in one hand in between your legs so that your body becomes a bridge for the sack’s initial position
- Pull the hand in the air to reach the horizontal position to ground with the sack in hand
- Keep the spine straight when bending
- The other hand should be used as a lever arm which complements the movement and helps to maintain the balance
